Pizzaria Otto Fundraiser | September 22

Skip the cooking and grab some pizza while supporting our school! Join us at Pizzeria Otto on Tuesday, September 22, anytime throughout the day. A portion of the day’s proceeds will be donated back to our school.

Bring the family, invite some friends, and enjoy a delicious meal while helping support our students. Every slice helps!

PTA Clothing Center Volunteer OpportunityMonday, 9/28, 9:30 am to 1:30 pm

Each year, every PPS school PTA is asked to provide volunteers twice to support the PTA Clothing Center, a vital district-wide service at Marshall that helps PPS families access clothing and shoes for their students. Beverly Cleary’s volunteer day is approaching, and we’re seeking volunteers to lend a hand! Volunteers will help students find clothing and assist with sorting donations. Parents, grandparents, and community members are all welcome.

Last school year alone, the PTA Clothing Center served nearly 1,400 PPS students, making a powerful impact possible thanks to people like you. If you’re able to help, please email communications@beverlyclearyschool.org.

Save the Date | OBOB 2/20/2027

OBOB is a beloved tradition at BCS supporting literacy. Groups of students form a team, read books, and socialize. The event culminates with book trivia battles at a school tournament, tentatively scheduled for Saturday, February 20, 2027.

Registration for the BCS OBOB program is open! Please register your 3rd to 8th grade readers by November 13 for this fun program that promotes literacy in a team setting. Parents register their students as individuals, but are able to identify requested teammates. Please keep in mind that coaches and event-day volunteers will be needed in order to make the event possible.

BCS’ PTA supports critical academic needs, is an active voice in decisions that impact your child’s health, safety, and quality of education, and builds a stronger, more inclusive school community. We invite you to join and PTA for your child, because membership dues help make it possible to:

• Host community building events like Spookarama and the Art Show
• Support educational enrichment activities like OBOB and Neurodiveristy week
• Celebrate and support our teachers through teacher appreciation week and grants

There is no wrong or right way to be involved - anything you can give, whether it's time, money, or input, will support your child’s potential. We invite you to join because we can do more together than apart - and it only takes 5 minutes!

Fall Enrichments

Fall after-school class listings and registration are available now!

Classes include arts, music, ultimate frisbee, chess, breakdance, D&D, STEM and more. Partial scholarships are available to make these programs accessible to all families. Just tell a school counselor if you need one (after-school providers can often subsidize the remainder.)

These classes are a way to build community, expand kids' interests and assist parents after school. They are not endorsed or sponsored by BCS or the PTA.
