General PTA Meeting | Monday, April 13 at 7 pm

Middle School Dance | Friday, April 17 at 7 pm
*THIS WEEK*

We’re excited to announce that our next Middle School Dance is just around the corner! Join us on April 17, 2026, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at BCS for a night of fun with friends. The students have spoken, and this dance’s theme is Spring Fling! Get ready for a high-energy evening with DJ Cotton Candy spinning great music and lighting up the dance floor.

Pizza, snacks, and drinks will be available for purchase (cash only). Tickets are $5 (cash only) and will be sold on April 15 and 16 before and after school. Please note that students must have a signed permission slip in order to purchase a ticket. A quick reminder: students may leave the dance early if needed; however, re-entry will not be permitted. If a student leaves before the end of the event, a chaperone will contact a parent/guardian to confirm permission.

Community Cares Day | Saturday, April 18 at 9 am

Please join together to make the school sparkle this spring. We need help from all ages for weeding, picking up trash, and sprucing up the outdoor spaces. Please bring your own gardening/work gloves and tools, including shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, pruning equipment, and weeding tools. Light refreshments will be provided. Teacher Appreciation Week | May 4 - 8

Coming soon! Teacher Appreciation Week is May 4th-8th. Let's celebrate our teachers! We'll be showing our appreciation in many ways, and there are many opportunities to help out before and after work hours. Click the link below to sign up as a volunteer.

Here is the outline of the week of celebration:

• Monday - Breakfast Day - PTA-sponsored breakfast for teachers and staff.
• Tuesday - Notes Day - let's plaster the school with notes of appreciation.  
• Wednesday - Outfit Day - Wear your teacher's favorite color.
• Thursday - Lunch Day - PTA-sponsored lunch for teachers and staff.
• Friday - Flower day - Bring a flower to school for your teacher.

Come to an after-school decorating party on Monday, May 4th! 3:15 to 6:00 pm. in the East Gymnasium. Help decorate for Notes Day! Everyone welcome! We'll take thank-you notes from students (and parents! and grandparents!) and create a collage for each teacher to be displayed near their classroom. Come stop by and join the fun, even if you don't consider yourself the crafty type. There will be pizza!

Please complete the BCS PTA Communications Request Form (linked below) by Thursday to have your content in the Monday newsletter of the following week. Please know that we will only include information directly related to school-sponsored or PTA-sponsored events. We will let you know if your submission does not qualify.
