Second Annual BCS Rummage Sale

Have you got some extra clothing cluttering your closets?  Or a few too many tennis rackets in your garage?  Or maybe that college art piece needs a new home?  Put your clutter to work for Beverly Cleary School!

This year's sale will be held on Friday, June 18 at the Fernwood campus. Your donations are tax deductible and all proceeds from the sale go to the Beverly Cleary PTA.  You will be able to bring your items to school the week of the sale.  Start cleaning house this weekend!

Donating Items

• Drop off your items at the Fernwood Cafetorium during the following times

    Tuesday, 6/15        4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
    Wednesday, 6/16    8:00 am - Noon, 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm
    Thursday, 6/17    10:00 am - 5:00 pm

• All donated items are tax-deductible. Donation receipts will be available at drop off.
• If you'd like a pick-up for your donated items, please contact Stephanie (see below for contact information).
• Please price items of significant value so we know what to charge; we will price all smaller items.
• We also need grocery bags!  Please include those in your donation drop-off!

Volunteers

• Volunteer signup is still open (click here).
• We're particularly seeking volunteers who know how to price garage sale items.
• All volunteers will get free admission to the pre-sale.
• If you've already signed up to volunteer for the sale, thank you.  Just show up at the Fernwood Cafetorium at the scheduled time and you'll get your task assignment. (To check to see what time you've signed up for, just click on the volunteer link above.)

Pre-Sale (Thursday 6/17,  7:30 pm - 8:30 pm - Fernwood Cafetorium)

• Admission to the pre-sale is $20.00 per family, unless you have volunteered during set up or for the day of the sale.  (Teachers and staff at Beverly Cleary get in free.)
• For Beverly Cleary School families and staff only.

Sale Day (Friday 6/18,  9:00 am - 5:00 pm - Fernwood Cafetorium)

• Everything 1/2 price starts at 3:00 pm.
• Starting at 4:00 pm, a grocery bag filled with sale items will cost $5.00.
• All left over items will be donated.
